Beatrice Fox Auerbach (July 17, 1887- November 29, 1968) was born into the Fox family, who had owned G. Fox department stores in Connecticut since 1847. Her father and mother, Moses and Theresa Fox, traveled widely to Europe and Asia and took their two daughters with them. Like her father, Beatrice Fox Auerbach was a genuine philanthropist and supported many organizations and charities. Her work was widely noticed among children and women’s charities and she worked hard to make Hartford and Connecticut known nationally and internationally. She became the chief executive officer of G. Fox & Co in 1938 and under her management the store grew ten times in size and became the largest family owned department store in America.

Casual outfits, shoes and handbags - vapaa-ajan vaatteita, kenkiä ja laukkuja |
eveningwear and workwear plus her office furniture - iltapukuja, työasuja ja työhuoneen huonekaluja |
Christmas gowns from 1959 to 1962 - Joulun illallispukuja vuosilta 1959 - 1962 |
Vanhimmat puvut vuosilta 1898 ja 1910 |
